- facilitate group living of disadvantaged children;
- be excellent communicators and advocates;
- instantly access a wide range of child protection and child care legislation information;
- be able to create a friendly and nurturing environment;
- pass to the children all sorts of domestic skills.
Therefore they have to:
- develop their skills continuously;
- exchange experience with their colleagues;
- develop professional and personal reflection;
- use a variety of “transversal” (social, recreational, creative) skills .
CareComp project is meant to help educators, carers, foster parents by identifying their most urgent development needs, providing them with training, information and support.
